Perhaps, instead of complaining that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, you should water the grass on your side of the fence.
That’s actually a lot more green in our grass than just a few weeks ago. It’s a work in progress. Kind of like a lot of the metaphysical lawns in my life.

or you could check and see if the neighbors have artificial grass.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the extreme heat you are having. I think artificial grass might be the way to go!!!
While there is artificial grass at one house in our neighborhood, it’s not on the other side of the fence from us. The grass on the other side of the fence from us really is that much greener than ours. They water theirs a bit (a lot) more regularly than we do.
