He says he was never destined to be an Olympic curler. He took a different path when he was younger and regrets it now.

If I were to train him to be a curler though, we’d have to start at ground zero – watching a curling match. He’s never seen one.

Sonya and I are dressed like mermaids with glittering emerald tails with a float shaped like a large pink open clam shell like Ariel’s palace in The Little Mermaid. We blow large bubbles with star-shaped wands and wave at the adoring crowd.
