I have the killer of all colds. But it seems like maybe I don’t have pinkeye, at least not daily. Roughly every other day my eye is being weird. So I’m thinking it’s probably related to the cold more. At least that’s what I’m hoping.
I bought a new Christmas tree – a 6.5 foot tall, 3.5 foot diameter tree – for $10!!! My tree is going to be bigger than me next year! I’ll probably still pull out the 3.5 footer I’ve been using since college and put it up somewhere too.
I’ve been noticing a lot of people talking about taking down their Christmas decorations already. I haven’t even been able to bring myself to think about it yet. I think I’m still traumatized from taking down my decorations last year while I was boxing everything else up and packing my life into a van (shout out to Mr. Me and his mad tetris skillz) and then driving all night trying to get to a meeting after working up until hours before we drove off. Crazy. Insane. The next time I move that big I’ll have a week off work before the actual moving day. So I don’t want to take down the Christmas decorations yet. They’ll be down before Valentine’s Day.
And I’ve been meaning to mention how pleasantly surprised I was with myself when I came home Tuesday night and discovered I’d left my place cleaned and organized. Yeah for me!
And there are about 15-20 hairs in a group on the side of my face that keep insisting on sticking straight out

I’m going to check next week and see if they still have some 3 foot ones and if they are any more on sale. Right now the 3 foot ones are just under $4. All not pre-lit of course because the pre-lit ones would just never have enough lights on them for me.
