Welcome to Fall!

Yesterday was the official first day of Autumn. It seemed like the perfect time for the colors to change on my website and blog just as they are changing on the leaves of the trees in places of the country where they have Autumn (Tucson not being one of those). Luckily I took a lot of, in my opinion, amazing pictures of fall foliage over the last few years, so I can pull up those pictures to decorate my website with and just admire the constant beauty that is this changing world. Let me know what you think of the new look.

Not only are there now pretty colors here, but I finally figured out how to have it list over in the side what the most recent comments are. Now everyone will be able to see just how much I talk to myself and comment on my own posts.

My B.Log isn’t changing how it looks, but I have managed to finally catch up to how many books I’m supposed to be at this year, so there have been several new books added there as well. September 22nd was the end of the 38th week of the year, and I was able to put up my 38th review for the year that afternoon. I only have one more talk left in the May Ensign and then I’ll be able to spend an hour 4-5 days a week while I’m on the bus reading books (don’t know why I can read on a bus and not get sick at all but have difficulty sitting in the back seat sometimes and not getting sick). Since textbooks count, I’m making sure I do more than skim my homework this time around. I’m on track to finish the New Testament in mid-December. And since I’m listening to the Old Testament while I run, I have some motivation to get out and run more so I can finish that as well. I’m in the middle of 6 other books too. I should be able to get my 52 for the year. I’m excited about it.

It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address. On the other hand, this not knowing has its charms.
