The importance of small things

Tonight I stopped at the grocery store to get stuff to make a pasta salad for tomorrow. While I was there I remembered that I am on my last roll of toilet paper so I should probably get some more. That was when I realized what I could blog about today.

For most things I really don’t care about the name on the label. I’ve never cared who made my clothes. I don’t need name brand things for the most part. I’d rather get a deal than the name.

But there are a few things that it is worth it to me to spend the money for the name. Toilet paper is one of them. I refuse to buy cheap toilet paper. Call it a left over oddity from my time in Brasil.

Also, today I learned that a shrimp’s heart is in its head and I was reminded that starfish don’t exactly have brains, just nerves.
