Trucks and Trains!

One advantage of being with small children all day is finding the joy in the small things again. With no meetings to get to and a schedule all our own we are able to take time to explore the things that make them smile. … Big mom-ing wins are often found in the little things. Keep reading

Me, the Runner, Part 1

Categories: Exercise, Family

I have always been a runner. When I was a baby my dad, also a runner, would push me on runs and races in the stroller. Back then they didn’t have the fancy jogging strollers we have now and I’ve been told that he and I wore out several strollers with all the miles we did. She didn’t see why she needed a new bib when she already had one taped to the back of her door. … I was so proud of her! She’s a true runner. … My own race went great. Keep reading

Life Imitates Art

In her hands she has two shoes and a sock. She spent at least 20 minutes looking for her other sock. She eventually pulled out the drawer we keep random toys in and investigated if her sock had turned into a Rubix Cube. … They aren’t that great at helping with chores yet (although they are enthusiastic helpers), so they earn their keep by being the entertainment right now.
