I have found that I feel more alert and even more beautiful when my house is clean. This morning I had not gotten dressed or showered or done more with my hair than pull it back in a pony tail. But I took out the trash, did the dishes, cleaned the kitchen and straightened the rest of the house. And I felt real good about myself, beautiful even.
Then I went for a good run, about 7.5 minutes per mile. And when I finished, even though I was wearing my running clothes and was sweating a bit from the run, I felt very beautiful. A clean house and a good run – I’m a new person.
Now, if only my water heater was more than 2.5 feet tall, I could take a long luxurious shower and really pamper myself.
