Two more days till the movie comes out. I just bought my ticket. I’m so excited. And I’ve got my hat and shirt ready to go for it. I’m working my way through the books again, but I won’t have the fifth one done in time for the movie. I am watching the other four movies though. I have favorite lines in all of them that just crack me up every time.
Quirrell running into the Great Hall on Halloween and saying “Troll! In the Dungeon! Thought you ought to know,” before fainting in the first movie makes me smile.
In the second movie I love it when Mr. Weasley asks Harry what the function of a rubber ducky is.
In the third movie Ron has the best lines. I like it when he wakes up from a dream and says the spiders want him to tap dance but he doesn’t want to. Harry tells him to tell the spiders that and Ron agrees that’s what he’ll do. Later, after the whole thing in the Shrieking Shack, Ron is talking with Hermoine about the bite on his leg from Sirius. Ron tells Hermoine that it’s too late and they’re going to have to chop it off.
And in the fourth movie at the first task when Barty Crouch says “Oooooo” after one of them pulls their dragon out of the bag – there’s just something about the way he does that. I can’t help but laugh at him. I also like it at the beginning of the Hogwarts feast when Filch trots up to the front, whispers something to Dumbledore, and then trots out and there is never any mention what they talked about.
I’m looking forward to seeing what one liners are going to stand out to me in this next movie.
