I don’t have a problem

This comic spoke to me a little too well – xkcd: Addiction.

I don’t have a problem. I could shut it off any time I want.

Actually, I am doing better. I don’t turn my computer on first thing in the morning any more. Oddly, I’ve found out that I get more done in a day the longer I leave the computer off, more specifically, the longer I leave instant messaging off. Whoever would’ve thought!

I do keep my daily to-do lists on the computer because I don’t want to waste all that paper printing them off every day. And I am more productive with my to-do list because I like crossing things off. So I turn on my computer at some point.

I can’t go cold turkey, but I can cut back, a little bit every day. Watch me.

I will watch you. Last night before I checked your blog I logged on to see if you were online. You weren’t. Good job.

I’m not afraid to admit I have a problem 😉 I have been much better since my son told on me (to my husband of course.) My poor neglected children 🙂
