Dumb Question of the Day

Every so often something just strikes me as making no sense whatsoever. My recent car purchase has reminded me of one of my dumb questions.

Why do people think white cars don’t show dirt the way other cars do? The only color of car that won’t show dirt is a dirt colored car. Do these people have white carpet in their house because that won’t show the dirt? No. You get dirt colored carpet for your house because that won’t show the dirt.

I don’t understand their logic on the dirty white car theory.
