Moved

I’m moved. Settled in will be a different story. An amazingly good-looking gentleman is letting me use the internet at his house today. I hope to have it at my place in another week. (Note, said gentleman is the one who thinks he is amazingly good-looking and added that in. And since this is his computer, I guess I’ll let him.)42D

But I am alive. More details to follow.

And for those who were interested – there were 20 boxes of books, but I think I’m still missing one.

I’m glad to hear that you made it! As for the books…

Did your truck lean towards the driver’s side the whole way there? Because that’s where I stacked all of the books!

Ah! That’s why I was drifting a bit on the drive. It wasn’t me being tired, it was the truck being heavier on that side. I knew it had to be something.

And the final book box count – 23. I wasn’t missing just one, but three. I found them in the box where wood would normally be kept for the fireplace but where I will be keeping blankets and pillows.

Ha. Look at you and all those books! Glad you made it there safely and securely, with all the books. 😉

It has come to my attention that some people feel that I have an excessive amount of books. A few people I was talking to recently could not name 10 books they had read in their lives, let alone an entire box worth.

How do people live without books? How can you go through life without reading? What do you do to stretch your imagination if not read? I confess I am befuddled by this.

As it is, I do not feel I have an excessive number of books. In fact, I dream of a life with even more books, perhaps a whole room in my house filled with books. I shall probably even call it a library.

Speaking of which, I already have my library card for Pima County.
