Tell a Fairy Tale

Today is “Tell a Fairy Tale Day.”

Tell a fairy tale to someone around you. Post a short one here. Post what your favorite fairy tale is. Celebrate fairies!

I wonder if I’d have time to read Beauty by Robin McKinley today. Or maybe Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine (I would never spoil such a good book by actually seeing the movie). (I actually know where both of those are on my bookshelf too.) If I knew where Seven Daughters and Seven Sons by Barbara Cohen and Bahija Lovejoy was, I might pull that one out too. Or maybe I should go to the library and get the sixth Artemis Fowl book. Or maybe get the Spiderwick Chronicles, that one looks interesting.

But I have to read and grade papers my students wrote too. Those are probably a bit on the fairy tale side as well.
