Reading Challenges

Every so often, to help me step out of a reading rut or to make it more interesting, I do a reading challenge.

In 2008 the challenge was to read 52 books in the year. Which would average out to one book a week. Some books took longer. Some books took less time. By the end of the year I’d read 54 books.

Starting in 2009 the challenge was to read 26 non-fiction books, one topic for each letter of the alphabet, in order. Non-fiction books take me longer to read than fiction books, but I think I actually enjoy this challenge more than the 52 books in a year challenge.

The next challenge?
