Hi. I’m Amanda, Lisa’s DC-dwelling librarian fellow grad student friend. I’ve known Lisa since 2003. I’m very glad she’s come into my life and excited for this next chapter!
I’m Sally. I have been friends with Lisa since the summer of 2005. We lived in the same ward in Orem, UT and served in the Relief Society Presidency together for a year.
Lisa and I met after she stopped being too shy to introduce herself in my store, San Francisco Music Box Co. We actually met online in 2002 (I think?) and she “stalked” me before getting up the guts to come up and say “Hi, I’m Eilonwy and my real name is Lisa”. She and I have bonded over weird boyfriends, fabric, The Show That Must Not Be Named, and books. I’m grateful I met her!
Hello! I’m Cammie. Lisa was and is my grad school buddy at UofA. Though, she is more advanced as she is pursuing a PhD and myself a lowly MA. Anyhoo…
We really bonded during stats (you should ask how sometime). Funny enough, I actually knew Bret long before I met Lisa–he was in my ward when I first moved to T-town. I’m excited for them both! They really deserve one another (and that is a good thing)!
Hi! I’m Melissa and apparently the only one who actually thought herself up (with my hubby’s help) a fairy name. But I guess that is fitting to my Lisa/Brett story. I’ve known Lisa since 2005 for the same reason as Sally. I’m also the one who sat and looked at countless guys (again, with my hubby’s help) for Lisa on an LDS dating site. I sent out a few e-mails to people I thought would make a good match for her, and Brett was one of them. In that first email I sent to Brett I told him to only contact Lisa if he wasn’t intimadated by greatness because she was an amazing woman. I’m so glad Lisa has found someone to love her, support her and help her continue doing great things!
Tudo Bem! I am Mimi! Lisa and I met at the Provo MTC back in 1999. We served in the same mission and we were neighbors for almost a year in Orem, UT in 2002-2003. Wow, I can’t believe that we have known each other for 10 years! I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting Brett, but I know he must be wonderful.
Lara here. Met Lisa, excuse me, Sister Giles, in the MTC where we were companions. Then we served in the same mission. I will be bold enough to say it probably wasn’t love at first sight for the two of us, but she has become a dear friend that I cherish. So happy for her!
I’m Lena (Elena) and have known Lisa since FOREVER! I wish I had a good excuse for taking FOREVER to sign onto here and get involved and find out what’s going on, but I’m glad I finally did and I’m so happy for Lisa and Brett and their coming up fast FOREVER!
Hi, I am Mom, because I am Lisa’s Mom. I have known Lisa all of her life.
I’m Lisa’s sister. I’ve known her all of my life.

Love your fairy name Melissa!
I wasn’t the easiest person to live with back then Lara. I learned a lot and I’m so grateful you were as patient with me as you were.
