Sometimes you just need to pack up and go. And with my summer off as a teacher (there is truth to the saying that the three best reasons for teaching are June, July and August), I had plenty of time to go. I checked out getting a job in Alaska for the summer, but when that didn't work out, my mom told me I should come visit them. That sounded okay, as long as I could take the long road and see as much as I can along the way and check off more states I've never been to before. I'm filming the whole thing to make a movie/documentary of it, but I'm also taking pictures and putting them here. Check them out state by state as I went through them.
