I've only ever been to the airport in Las Vegas. And that's the only part of Nevada I've ever been to. And I don't really like the airport. So this summer when I had the opportunity to go out to California to pick up Brian, and he said he'd cover my gas, I thought why not.

On the way back I had to stop in Vegas. Melissa told me I needed to eat at In-N-Out Burger since I'd never eaten there before. And I needed to pull a slot machine. DeShawn told me that I-15 in Nevada is Indian for "ugly," and I'd have to agree. The California part of the road was beautiful with neat shaped cactus, the Arizona part had a great canyon, but the Nevada part was boring.

But the burgers and fries at In-N-Out Burger were great. And then we went to Excalibur and I spent my change from dinner, a whole 35 cents, in a slot machine. And I won 75 cents. So I left Vegas a winner. And now I can cross Nevada off my list of states to go to.
