If you ever get a chance to be in a melodrama - take it. This show was a blast to do. The cast was hilarious. The rehearsals were the perfect ab work out as we kept each other in stitches. Then it seemed the 7pm shows were cursed - Josh could not keep his mustache on. We tried glue sticks, chewing gum, anything we could think of. For the final show, we ended up using duct tape to keep it on, and it worked. Duct tape really is the solution to all of life's problems.

Meet the Cast
Tyler Carter (Little Irving) -- has previously been in Sound of Music and Les Miserables. He loves to be in and watch plays and wants to do more. Thanks to Eldon and Verdon for the great time. |
Lisa Giles (Moustache Agnes) -- By day I'm Miss Giggles, the computer teacher. By night I've been "type cast" as a man, an insane person, a nurse, a drunk nun, and now a be-mustached sheriff. Isn't schizophrenia grand!? Vida Boa! |
Dan Long (Rock Quarry) -- This is my first community experience and it is fun to be able to work with more experienced people to teach me how to do this. I would really like to be able to do more. |
| Josh Curtis (Smedley Pewtree) -- When you're panning for gold and you accidentally catch a crawfish, it's hard to decide if you should keep panning for gold, or give up and go for crawfish. But buddy, that's a decision nobody can make for you. Oh, and Josh likes Spiderman and shows. |
Christy Gordon (Goldie) -- is a student at BYU. Her previous shows include King Lear, Children of Eden, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. She would like to thank her family and friends for all their support. |
M'lisa Long (Constance Lafoon) -- Dan's mom! We have lived in PG for about 1 1/2 years. Played "Marn" in Hallowe'd Journey in community theater in Missoula, Montana, and was a member of the Ridgedale Players in Troy, Michigan. I'm having fun meeting new people here. |
| Becky Gardner (Mysterious old flower woman) -- last appeared in Utah county as Tansy in the Nerd. She grew up in Maryland, came out to Utah seven years ago to go to college, and just stayed! |
Anita Joblin (Preacher's Widow) -- This is my first time with the PG Players. I am a mother of eight. Thank you Trent and Kids for your love and support. |
Mel Sundquist (Assayer) -- This is the second time that Mel (Who is 14 years old) has played someone over 60. She loves it, and is getting kind of used to the arthritis. She would like to thank her family, Eldon, Verdon and the cast. |
