This fabric kept speaking to me at the fabric store, so I bought it. And then I had to figure out what kind of quilt I wanted to make out of it. This is what I ended up with. I love it. I backed it with denim, so it's got a great back for throwing on the ground. And I machine quilted it with varigated thread in the same shades of the fabric. The thread blends great on the front and looks nice on the back against the denim. I love it.

And then I decided to name the quilt. Inspired by a conversation with Brett, I decided to call it "And piña colladas in coconut shells." Because every so often we can all use a vacation at the beach with the waves hitting the sand and piña colladas in coconut shells.
