It was a smaller party this year than past years. But it was still a real good party and I'm very grateful for those who came.

I bought the music box for this year last year because I found a religious one I really liked last year. But that meant it was a bit of a surprise to me what it looked like this year too since I couldn't exactly remember it. Now that we've opened it I remember picking that one out. I still like it too.

I'm also grateful for all the leftover food I get to eat for the next two weeks now (if it lasts that long). Some of my favorite treats come out in December - cheese balls, eggnog, hot chocolate, apple cider. And a party is a good excuse to get different chips and dips too. We had a vegetable tray as well. So it was sort-of balanced. The spread looked good

And the setting was beautiful. I really like how my place looks decorated this year.
