While in Texas, were able to see all the beautiful wild flowers. We'd missed the blue bonnets by about three weeks, but the Indian blankets were in bloom. Most of these flowers were just growing along the Interstate. Some were taken on the beach in Galveston, and others at the Wildseed Farm, the world's largest wildflower farm. We also went to the state capitol in Austin and I took pictures of the rotunda and the hinges they have on the doors.
