MOM!! You changed your clock today and I didn't. That means it's only a two hour difference now. I'd completely forgotten about that this year until just a few days ago. Man it would be nice to get an extra hour of sleep (especially since I now go to bed early enough to take advantage of that).

For the past several years, I have participated in NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month). Some people do it all year long, but November is the official month. And I'll be doing it again this year. The goal is to post on your blog every day of the month. There will be a few adjustments for me this year though. I'm planning on being offline entirely the week we get married (can you blame me?!). But... I will be blogging those days. They just won't get up on the internet those days but will instead show up after we get back.

Part of the challenge for me this month will be to not have all 30 posts be about getting and being married. But again, can you blame me if they are? Last year, together with Book Guardian, we added an additional challenge, we both used the lines from a song as the titles of our posts all month long. This year we're doing an additional "theme" for the month. See if you can figure it out.

I'm going "off grid" for a week or so. When I come back I'll be married. How great is that!

We're back online. What a wonderful week. Full of magic and love and light and significance (and snow). All of the stories will be told eventually. For now, we're just enjoying.

A while ago my dad made a comment about me having too many blogs. That might be kind of true. I have the main one associated with this site, Random Giggles. And that was my first one. I started it as an assignment in my very first graduate class.

Then I have a blog where I have all of my book reviews, Miss Giggles' Book Log. That used to just be pages on this site, but I think a blog gives it more functionality simply because you can search it.

Then for my wedding plans this summer I created another blog that I made private and shared with a few people so I wouldn't be overly gushy in public and because Brett didn't want to see my dress till I was in it and I was talking about it there. We've had the wedding now though, so if you want to go see my ranting and rambling and randomness revolving around the wedding, you may. It was a blog for my "Wedding Posse," because a posse is so much cooler than bridesmaids.

And now Brett and I have a blog together, Ooh Shemo, although I'll probably be doing most of the posting there. And that one will have more stuff about the two of us while Random Giggles will have more stuff about just the random thoughts in my own head. But you might want to start checking that one a bit more regularly.

So there's four blogs I'll admit to. That might be a lot, but they each have their own purpose, so I don't think it's too much. I've listed the main three here on the side so you can see at a glance if there is anything new on them.

You can find some photos from our wedding at Remember this... Photography by Amy Harrison. They are absolutely gorgeous!

Instead of counting calories in the meal, count the blessings in your life instead. Or, try to figure out one blessing for every calorie.
