2 March 2009, Monday
Wonder where my Jell-O egg molds are and if I could have green eggs and ham for dinner tonight. I should read Cattus Petasatus today too. Google has a pretty good doodle for today too. It's real cute. 7 March 2009, Saturday
I'm still the same number of miles away even if the clock now says I'm three hours away instead of two. 14 March 2009, Saturday
And I'm all set to enjoy Spring Break next week. I have big plans to do homework and quilt. Exciting, I know. 3.1415296535 8214808651 4428810975 7245870066 3305727036 9833673362 0005681271 4201995611 5024459455 5982534904 17 March 2009, Tuesday
20 March 2009, Friday
To celebrate I'm going to go see if Wal-Mart has it's wall-o-sunscreen and get some stuff for my face.
I made bread yesterday instead of Tuesday, but I still thought of the Relief Society when I did it.

I've added another column on the right of the front page so that you can see what is new on both of my blogs, my regular random blog and my book review blog, right from here. I think that's pretty neat. I write more on my blog than I do here, and you don't want to miss any of the good stuff. 11 April 2009, Saturday There's snow on the mountains. It's Tucson. It's April. Does that not seem strange to anyone else?
and for tomorrow...
12 April 2009, Sunday It was several years ago now that someone in a talk on Easter Sunday mentioned that they have a tradition of rising early on Easter morning and watching the sun rise. That felt like a good tradition to have that would really mean something on Easter Sunday. I'm all about candy and new clothes, but I just can't get behind the idea of a bunny hiding eggs. I also think eating a ham on Easter is a bit weird since the timing of it is based on a Jewish celebration.
I wrote about my thoughts this morning watching the sunrise on my blog: Risen. Another tradition I have for Easter are watching the video Special Witnesses of Christ . This video was made a couple of years ago and features testimonies of the Savior by the living Prophet and Apostles. It was filmed at various locations around the world. Each year as I watch it, something new catches my attention and my testimony of my Savior grows even more. 14 April 2009, Tuesday

Three more weeks of this semester. Prepare for me to be a bit stressed and out of it for the next three weeks. Three more big papers/presentations to go. At least I'm not having nightmares about statistics this semester.
What a wonderful day to dance the May Pole! That is one tradition I miss. I'll just have to enjoy the flowers on my own. I hope your May Day is full of flowers.
I feel it is fitting that on this day, Lost Sock Memorial Day, that I got the last of my laundry put away for this week, my pile of socks. And they are all there too. No lost socks this time. 10 May 2009, Sunday
20 May 2009, Wednesday The semester is officially over. It ended real well, no scary statistics dreams this time. I'm on a three week break until the Summer terms start. I'll be grading for the first Summer term and teaching the second one. It'll keep me busy, but not too busy. I'm also keeping busy finishing up a bunch of sewing projects I have laying around. It's nice to see them finish up and get where they belong. Also, it's hot. Today we are only going to be in the upper 80s and it's such a relief from the last week it's almost sad. But I made full use of the cool breezy morning this morning and sat on my patio for a very long time just reading and enjoying. 25 May 2009, Monday
