Today marks the anniversary of the establishment of my family. Twenty-nine years ago this day my parents were married. I'm really glad they did that.

Happy Birthday Tanya! A friend who always knocks my socks off. And for an early birthday present she got a beautiful baby girl on Saturday. I think I'm in love with her baby.

I spent the weekend in Tucson, Arizona. While I was there, Brett and I went to the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. It was gorgeous, so I took pictures.

Work started back up last Thursday, the 17th, with two full days of meetings. They weren't the worst of meetings, but they were still meetings. Tuesday we had our open house, and Wednesday the kids came back. I have all brand new computers this year, so I haven't had the kids come in yet. I was setting them up still this week. Now I just cross my fingers that everything will work the way it is supposed to.

I also started back to school on Wednesday. I'm taking four classes this semester, one each day Monday through Thursday. It's going to get me out of work on time, which will be nice. Otherwise I usually end up staying till 5:00 for some unknown reason. It will also make me stay up on my grade book. I've only been to two classes so far, and I'm going to be dropping one of them so I can take a different one, but from looking at the syllabi for them, I'm going to be spending quite a bit of time this semester just trying to get through the reading. Luckily, it all pretty much interests me. And by December I'll be half way through my program.

I guess this means Summer is over. I'm getting ready to just push on through till Christmas. For some reason, that seems like a good resting place to look forward to. I can make it till then.
